W młodości dużo czasu spędzałem na klatce swojego bloku i rozdrapywałem farbę ze ścian podczas trwających często godzinami rozmów z przyjaciółmi. Ja robiłem jakiś napis następnego dnia ktoś go skreślał i pisał coś innego. Dostrzegam tego typu polemiki na ścianach budynków. Malowanie sprayem i zamalowywanie napisów na ścianie może być postrzegane jako symbol walki o władzę i tłumienia pewnych głosów. Walka o sprawczości o to kto ma racje czy jeden klub sportowy jest kurwą czy może drugi. Akt niszczenia lub wymazywania słów na ścianie może być postrzegany jako reprezentacja sposobów, w jakie systemy patriarchalne próbują wymazać lub zminimalizować głosy tych, którzy są marginalizowani. Krzyk w postaci napisu jest zamalowywany, przekreślany w jego miejsce pojawia się nowy.

ConversationIn my youth, I spent a lot of time in the stairwell of my block of flats and scratched the paint off the walls during conversations with friends that often lasted for hours. I made some inscription the next day someone crossed it out and wrote something else. I see this type of polemics on the walls of buildings. Spray painting and painting over the writing on the wall can be seen as a symbol of the struggle for power and the suppression of certain voices. The fight for agency about who is right or one sports club is a whore or maybe the other. The act of destroying or erasing the words on the wall can be seen as representative of the ways in which patriarchal systems try to erase or minimize the voices of those who are marginalized. The scream in the form of an inscription is painted over, crossed out and replaced by a new one.
